For most private events — no. Under ABC §23399.1, a license generally isn't required when the event is private, no alcohol is sold, and the host provides the alcohol. If your event involves ticketed entry, public access, or alcohol sales, an ABC license is required and must be held by a licensed beverage vendor. We do not obtain, hold, or provide liquor licenses.
Our complimentary Beverage Consultation takes the guesswork out. We provide a detailed materials list with exact quantities based on your guest count, service duration, and consumption level — refined with data from hundreds of events.
We don’t sell or purchase alcohol, but we make it easy: we provide a materials list with exact quantities, and you purchase from the retailer or vendor of your choice at retail prices with no markup from us.
Three options: bring them yourself, have a retailer deliver to your venue, or use our Beverage Logistics service — we’ll receive, store, and transport everything for you. Logistics is complimentary with Signature and Bartending 101 services.
